Terms of use

Last updated: August 23, 2026

1. Service and beta

Reflexive is a learning workspace for self-directed study and long-running topics — notes by thread, diagrams, and optional AI features (scoped agents, briefs, study terms). It is not a mood diary or generic AI chat wrapper. The Service is provided in beta “as is”: features may change; errors and data loss are possible. The Service is primarily offered in the European Economic Area and the United Kingdom; users in other countries, including the Republic of Kazakhstan, may register and use it subject to these Terms and the Privacy Policy.

2. Data and hosting

User personal data is stored on a server in Helsinki, Finland (European Union), in PostgreSQL. Creating an account means acceptance of the Privacy Policy, Cookie Policy and international transfers described in the Privacy Policy. We recommend exporting important notes.

3. Account

You are responsible for your password and account content. One person — one account unless agreed otherwise with the operator. You must be at least 16 years old. Registration means acceptance of these Terms, the Privacy Policy and the Cookie Policy.

4. Acceptable use

Prohibited: violation of applicable law, spam, hacking attempts, automated scraping without permission, malicious content, use of the Service for unlawful content. The operator may restrict access for violations.

5. User content

You retain rights to your notes. You grant the operator permission to store, process and where necessary transfer content to run the Service, including transfer to OpenAI when using AI features, on the server in Helsinki and in OpenAI’s cloud.

6. AI features

AI output may be inaccurate. Do not treat it as medical, legal or financial advice. You are responsible for decisions based on AI output. Using AI means sending the relevant text to OpenAI.

7. Liability

The operator does not guarantee error-free operation and is not liable for data loss, indirect damages or third-party actions (including OpenAI, Google, the hosting provider in Finland). Limitations apply to the maximum extent permitted by applicable law. For consumers in the EEA/UK, mandatory statutory rights are not affected.

8. Termination

The operator may restrict or close accounts that violate these terms. You may stop using the Service at any time and request data deletion via Telegram @sefrwea.

9. Contact

Questions, support and personal data requests: Telegram @sefrwea.

10. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of Finland, without prejudice to mandatory consumer protection rules in your country of residence in the EEA, the UK, or (where applicable) the Republic of Kazakhstan.
